Elsie Frost
Elsie was a 14-year-old girl who was killed in an underpass beneath a railway line near to the ABC Steps. She had spent the day at the Horbury Lagoon popular for boating in the 1960s. When Elsie headed home she is believed to have taken a short cut home on her own, which sadly led to her tragic death.
For years the case was thought to have been doomed to remain unsolved. As the Fiftieth Anniversary approached her family approached Radio 4 IPM Programme for help with her case which at the time was doomed to remained unsolved.
